Im gonna take this time to talk about the play and development of the Spartans current freshman class. Two freshman, Draymond Green and Delvon Roe have been the best players on the court in the Spartans past two games and are blooming at just the right time. Both these kids were highly touted freshman and fans have been waiting for them to come around and start being the breakout players that they were in high school. Both have developed into tremendous rebounders, which is what this team has been known for during all their championship runs. If Roe and Green continue to develop watch out for this team come tournament time. I don't see the Spartans dropping another game this season and they should be a 2 seed in the big dance.
Their biggest game to this point of the season is coming up on Tuesday Feb.17 at Purdue, if the Spartans win that game then they control their own destiny.
Sean's prediction: Watch for Kalin Lucas to be big on the offensive end for the Spartans. Goran Suton will post another double-double and Delvon Roe will have another solid performance. This game stays close until the end when Lucas becomes too much for the Boilermakers.
MSU 67, Purdue 62
